Doll Smash does not test on animals – and we would never ask others to test our cosmetics on animals for us.
We also promote the acceptance and use of non-animal testing methods.
Do your cosmetics contain any animal products?
Our ethos is not to use animal-derived ingredients where possible, but some products may contain animal derivatives, like lanolin.
Our brushes are made from synthetic hair, no animals are harmed in the production of our brushes.
Why do some products include parabens?
In the United States, where our products are made, the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) has confirmed that parabens are safe for use in cosmetic products. All Doll Smash products are allergy tested and dermatologist tested.
By using parabens, we can ensure our products do not present any health risk from contamination by microorganisms. Parabens are approved by the US FDA for inclusion in a wide range of consumer products, such as foods and drinks.
Parabens prevent disease and infection in humans by reducing the risk of fungal and bacterial contamination. They are recognised as safe by the World Health Organisation and various Governments across the world.
Without them, our cosmetics would need to be refrigerated immediately after production and have a shelf life of just a few weeks.
Where can I find a product’s ingredients?
All Doll Smash ingredients are listed on the packaging of each product.
Our website also lists them on each product page under the ‘Ingredients’ header.
Should you have any questions, please email your enquiry to email@example.com and our Customer Service desk will respond as soon as possible.
Do your products contain gluten?
Doll Smash can reassure you that our cosmetics do not contain gluten in the ingredients.
However, we cannot confirm that commodities have not been in possible contact with gluten during the production process undertaken by our suppliers. Therefore, we cannot confirm that our products are free from any traces of gluten.
If you have specific questions or concerns about gluten, we recommend consulting a qualified doctor or medical professional.
Are Doll Smash cosmetics hypoallergenic?
Our products are designed and made to prevent customers suffering from allergic issues.
Will my Doll Smash brush shed hairs?
All of our brushes are made from synthetic hair. Steps have been taken to minimise shedding so we can provide the best brush possible.
During the manufacturing process, it is difficult to achieve uniformity for each hair strand. As a result, some shorter hairs might be bundled together with longer ones, which can cause shedding.
Washing your brushes occasionally with a mild shampoo can also prevent shedding. Rinse until the water is running clear. Gently reshape your brush and lay it flat to let it air dry.
However, be careful not to get water in to the top of the brush handle (ferrule) as this can cause the glue to deteriorate and cause the brush head to separate from the handle.
